Holy Dog on the Fillmore

The little spot near Fillmore and Geary (1552 Fillmore) formerly known as Pescara Ristorante and the Fillmore Mexican Grill before that, is changing hands once more. It’s set to become a hot dog place called Holy Dog. Renovations are currently in progress.
I hope they are open late to take advantage of the Fillmore Concert scene. I’ll review their dogs after they open. They will serve beer and wine!

  1. Hi. 🙂 Have you tried the new Dumplings and Buns on California(?) and Fillmore? We did last week and it was just ok. But maybe we will head by in a few weeks to try for 2nds.

    • Just ok? Too bad!!!!! I have yet to try it…I walked by the day before it opened and haven’t gotten back around to checking it out. There is a Vietnamese Sandwich place just around the corner that I want to try to.

      • We tried Bun Mee on Fillmore and it’s okay. I like the Sloppy Joe. Let me know if you fare better. 🙂 There’s a new Bun Mi Cafe on Clement that we like. It’s got this yummy duck bahn mi. It’s occupying space that used to be the Indonesian Rice Table. Take care!
