The Soup Nazi is Coming to San Francisco

That’s right folks! The infamous, “No Soup for you!” Soup Nazi from Seinfeld is opening a place down on the Wharf. Al Yeganeh (the inspiration behind the character) will be opening up “The Original SoupMan” which he has chained out from his 15 minutes of fame. This is the first West Coast shop so we’ll have to go see if his soup was as good as Jerry and the Gang claimed it to be. Soups will include Jambalaya, Lobster Bisque, Crab Bisque, and Cioppino.

The new shop is set to open on May 19th, 2011 and Reggie Jackson (yes, Mr. October, himself) will be there!

One Response to “The Soup Nazi is Coming to San Francisco”

  1. I actually made a point to find the Diner years ago in NYC (grease spoon and looks nothing like the set), but never bothered with the soup place. I thought the guy was deported? Or was that just on the show only? Lol. Thanks for this info and will try it soon.
