Wor Won Ton Soup, King Lee’s Restaurant

There is something mysterious about this soup. I have it on good authority that the broth recipe has been past down from magi for one thousand generations. The soup, in it’s entirety, has medicinal powers. The Jewish Grandmother’s Chicken Noodle has squadoosh on King Lee’s Wor Won Ton Soup.

The base is the broth…sweet and savory with a trace of ginger. It was once used as currency in a far off land. The soup is actually a potpourri of goodness. Here is a list of goodies that this soup showcases: prawns, thinly sliced chicken (the most tender chicken I have ever tasted), beef strips, zucchini, bok choy, carrots, celery, pea pods, and the best won tons in the city! Yes, in the city! That, my friends, is a bold statement living in San Francisco!

Oh ya, slurping is a sign of good food and a true compliment to the chef!
